Deproteinization of Natural Rubber Latex and Its Pale-Colored Thin Films

چکیده
The non-rubber components present in natural rubber latex can contribute to the dark color of dried films and may cause allergic reactions. This project aimed develop light-color with minimal protein contamination. Various additives were incorporated, a leaching procedure was implemented address this issue. evaluation focused on content, changes, swelling properties thin films. Texapon N70 proved effective as both stabilizer agent, while Uniphen P-23 served preservative. combined use these facilitated removal soluble serum through appropriate incubation, leaching, centrifugation processes. introduction additional cycles improved deproteinization reduction; however, it led loss mass an increase manufacturing costs. Increasing amount introducing alkali potassium hydroxide (KOH) further enhanced efficiency reduction. optimal conditions determined investigation follows: 0.5% w/w N70, KOH, 1% P-23, 60-min incubation period, single cycle distilled water. These resulted 90.57 ± 1.20% decrease contamination change (ΔE) 433.69 20.23. successful condition be replicated scaled up for applications.

Thermally conductive thin films derived from defect free graphene-natural rubber latex nanocomposite: Preparation and properties
Commercially useful rubber products viz. gloves, condoms, tyres, and rubber hoses used in high temperature environments, etc., require efficient thermal conductivity, which increases the lifetime of these products. Graphene can fetch this property, if it is effectively incorporated into the rubber matrix. The great challenge in preparing graphene-rubber nanocomposites is formulating a scalable ...
متن کاملNatural Rubber Latex Allergy
I n the past 10 years, IgE-mediated allergy to natural rubber latex has become a significant health problem in industrialized countries, especially among health care workers, patients with congenital malformations, and children with a history of multiple surgical interventions. Curative treatment inducing immunological tolerance in formerly sensitized patients is experimental and not yet genera...
متن کاملNatural rubber latex allergy.
Immediate hypersensitivity to natural rubber latex (NRL) has become increasingly common during the last 20 years. It is currently one of the most frequently encountered occupational diseases among the healthcare workers and a problem even in other occupations where protective gloves are used. Several groups at high risk for developing NRL allergy have been defined, including healthcare workers ...
